1. What TradieCerts is

TradieCerts.com.au ("the Site") is an independent comparison service. We list trade certification courses offered by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) across Australia. We are not a Registered Training Organisation. We do not deliver training, issue certificates, or enrol students. Enrolment, delivery, and certification are handled entirely by the RTO you choose.

2. Information accuracy

Course data — including price, duration, format, availability, and location — is supplied by RTOs or sourced from their public websites. We verify each record and show the date of last verification. Prices and availability can change without notice. Before booking, confirm the details on the RTO's own booking page. We're not liable for discrepancies between what we show and what the RTO charges at the point of enrolment.

3. Affiliate and referral disclosure

When you click through to an RTO's booking page, we may earn a commission or a per-click referral fee. This does not change the price you pay. It does not influence organic ranking. Paid placements, if any, are clearly labelled "Promoted". See how we rank providers for the full methodology.

4. Your use of the Site

When you use the Site, you agree to:

Use it for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes (browsing and comparison)
Not scrape, re-host, or republish the course data without written permission
Not submit false or misleading information via our forms
Not attempt to probe, attack, or disrupt the Site

5. Intellectual property

All original content on the Site — editorial copy, layout, branding, code — is © TradieCerts and protected under Australian copyright law. Provider logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind
We are not responsible for the quality, delivery, or outcome of courses you book with RTOs
We are not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from use of the Site, except where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Third-party links

Links to RTO websites and other third-party sites are provided for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or the terms of any transaction you enter with them.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the Site. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and TradieCerts submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
